A standpoint that asserts, "any figure that looks interesting or different is usually wrong." Therefore, the more surprising or large the conversion lift, the more likely it is to be the result of error, or random chance, not an actual, trustworthy conversion lift.
Experimenters need to be aware of Twyman's law. If the figure, or conversion uplift sounds unbelievable, it likely is.
