Test Details:

Impact M (formerly Value-Drive), a Japanese digital marketing firm, conducted this sizeable font test on their content marketing blog.

Background:

Noticing a high bounce rate on their blog, Impact M thought it would be worthwhile testing the impact of font size.

Their goal was to decrease bounce rate by increasing reader engagement.

Hypothesis:

The team suspected changing font size would impact engagement. But, they didn’t know what font size would be best. So, they tested five different versions.

Did the results change based on device? (ie: desktop vs phone)
Besides just screen size, I think people have different motivations when using desktop and mobile. This could be another factor in which device results may vary.
