A measure of a prospect’s desire to complete a specific transaction on your website. For example, obtaining a product, or receiving a service offered on your site.
A user with high conversion intent will typically work to overcome the challenges and obstacles encountered while navigating through your site. They are highly motivated to obtain your product or service.
On the other hand, a user with low conversion intent will not actively work to overcome any challenge presented in their path. They’re not likely to convert -- unless your site is highly optimized.
Matching conversion intent with user behavior, at the appropriate place in the conversion funnel, can be a powerful Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) technique.
