Background & Test Details:

Optimizely, the digital experimentation platform, ran this crafty copy test in-house as part of an ongoing series of studies.

After analyzing results from previous experiments, the testing team spotted an interesting trend: compared to other the Call To Action (CTA) button copy, the wording "Get Started" worked best globally, across all pages on the site.

However, the team wondered if this same finding would hold true on specific product pages.

So decided to test the effect of changing the CTA button copy on the Orchestrate product page from "Get Started" to "Watch a demo".

The most beatiful result of this experiment is that currently they use "Get Started" on the Orchestrate page anyway!
